Often associated with the flower children of the 60's, patchouli has actually been used for centuries. Silk traders traveling from China to the Middle East packed dried patchouli leaves in their silk cloth to protect it from moths. But this great soap is not just for past eras, it is still just as beneficial today. Besides repelling insects, patchouli has anti-fungal properties, lifts your mood, helps combat stress, and is great for the skin. This is one of our favorites because of the long-lasting scent.
